United Methodist Men
Helping Men Grow in Christ, So Others May Know Christ
The objectives of United Methodist Men (UMMen) are to:
- Be a resource for the church and community.
- Facilitate communications among members.
- Develop, promote and evaluate current and future programs for men, which will support the ministry of men and the mission of the United Methodist Church, including the General Commission on United Methodist Men (GCUMM)
- Be supportive of members.
2018 Mission Activities:
- Delivered fruit and cookie plates to those who are home-bound at Christmas
- Provided funds for youth trips for mission and camp
- Supported Vacation Bible School for the community
- Assisted with the Secondhand Treasures Sale
- Delivered items to Bishop’s Round-Up Against Hunger
- Delivered food monthly from the Church to God’s Storehouse
- Collected and delivered magazines for our Veterans
- Provided assistance with yard work and building of ramps for the elderly
- Hosted two breakfasts during the year (February and October) to raise funds for missions
