The Grantville United Methodist Women is a part of the Topeka District of the Great Plains United Methodist Women. Regular Meetings are the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The UMW Executive Committee consists of President Debbie Clough-Schmitz, Vice President Theresa Cote, Secretary Rose Souter, Treasurer Janet White and Secretary of Program Resources Marledeen Joy.
Purpose of the United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; and to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Living The Faith
Living the Faith reflects our Christian understanding of the faith as to both what we believe and how we act. When Jesus is at the center of our lives, our faith is alive. Living the Faith is a journey of joy, new learnings, reaching out to others and growing together in action and faith.

Membership
A woman who is willing to be involved in global missions through UMW may be a member in any one of the following ways:
- Attendance at meetings
- Undesignated giving to support missions
- Intercessory prayer
- Meaningful community involvement
- Accepting leadership responsibility
- Participating in various concerns of the Women’s Division
We welcome any women in the community who wishes to participate in the global mission of the church to join us. We cordially invite you to attend the meetings and share our fellowship.
